President: Randy Hagler

For nearly 30 years, Sergeant Randy Hagler has served the citizens of his community. He has devoted his time and talents to not only just his community, but to his fellow police officers through his work with the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).
   It all started when he joined the Hickory Police Department in 1978. The following year, he would move on to work for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD).

FOP Lodge #9 recently lost our Chaplain, Tyrone Scott. Chaplain Scott passed away at his home and will be missed deeply. Chaplain Scott was a good friend to everyone and provided our lodge with a spiritual presence that we had not enjoyed before. 

After Chaplain Scott’s passing, we realized we needed someone else to provide what was lost. Thankfully we found Officer David Wright of the Independence Division. Chaplain Wright was sworn in by State Lodge President Terry Mangum at the March meeting.
