Speedway Jeep® Day

Join us for Speedway Jeep® Day! This event is in Honor of our fallen and wounded officers involved in the tragic shooting that occurred April 29th, 2024. Come out and have some FUN and help us raise money for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #9 Foundation. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Fraternal Order of Police represents law enforcement officers within Mecklenburg County providing them with critical services when needed. For years, the FOP Foundation has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help officers and their families with crucial funding for medical needs, mortgage relief, emergency funding and other challenges they face. The five officers wounded on April 29th were out of work and in need of financial help as they heal, and our Foundation was there. We're here to help the men and women of law enforcement and through events like the Speedway Jeep® Day you can help too!

This event has three ticket options to choose from. Times for each activity are listed below, please read each as there may be a different time or location where you will meet.

When: Saturday, October 19th

Where: Charlotte Motor Speedway

Time: 3pm - approx. 9pm

General Admission is required for all guests unless a higher level ticket package is selected, which includes general admission. Tickets are per vehicle. Gates for the event and Show & Shine open at 3:00pm. All ticket levels include the movie which will start at approx. 7:00pm.

• At 3:00pm, gates open at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Fan Zone for all event guests and participants in the Jeep® Show & Shine. The Fan Zone is located on the exterior of the Charlotte Motor Speedway by the main entrance. All Jeeps will be parked together in the designated Show & Shine area. All other vehicles will occupy the adjacent parking areas. Show & Shine awards will be given for categories including Classic Jeep® (pre 1986), YJ, TJ/LJ, JK, JL, JT, Midsize Jeep® (Liberty, Renegade, Patriot, Compass, Comanche, Cherokee) and Best in Show. *To enter your Jeep® you must purchase a Show and Shine ticket to participate. This ticket is per vehicle and includes the movie.
• At approx. 6:00pm the VIP On-Track Tribute Laps will begin. This ticket* permits you to drive your vehicle on a guided two-lap ride around the Charlotte Motor Speedway track! (If you are in the Show and Shine, you will leave that area and link up with those participating.) *You must purchase a VIP Tribute Laps ticket* to participate. This ticket* is per vehicle and includes the movie.
• At approx. 6:00pm, access to the infield area for the movie will open. The film Hotel Transylvania will be shown on the newly renovated Jumbo LED screen! Much like a drive-in movie, guests stay in their vehicles. (There will be a small area in front for lawn seating, if preferred.)
• At approx. 7:00pm movie starts.
• Approx. 9pm event ends.

All proceeds from the above-listed activities will directly benefit officers injured in the line of duty, families of officers killed in the line of duty, and other needs. Proceeds are collected and managed by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #9 Foundation. We are a registered 501(c)(3).
